Game Day was very well attended and supported! Thanks to all who came and played and to those who contribute to BHUA in many wonderful ways. Special thanks to Betty Only for organizing this awesome event! Thanks to Deborah McDurmon and Emily Johnson for setting up, cleaning up and handling the entrance fees. Thanks to Phyllis Agnew for arranging food for 70 and for delicious strawberry congealed salad & croissants. Thanks to Judy Sandlin for homemade chicken salad and to Linda Porter for enough yummy broccoli salad to feed an army. Thanks to Pat Spencer & Martha Baker for beautiful chocolate cakes.
Pastor Tim gave a very informative and inspirational talk. Every time he tells the story of founding Brinkley Heights we learn something miraculous. This year the first 2 seniors will graduate, one of whom has earned a full scholarship to Union University. That is something to be celebrated! On a personal note, Pastor Tim has lost weight, he attributes that to the 2 young children (age 2 and 4) he and his wife have been foster parenting for the past 6 - 9 months. He asks us to pray for them. Since Monday a judge has decided that they go back to their natural parents, so please continue to pray!
Thanks again for all your generous support!
